I have just discovered Anki OVERDRIVE. It looks like a worthy successor to slot car systems like Carrera.

Changes in this version:

• New mission goal - deliver as many passengers as you can before you go broke or your rocket gets destroyed

• Introduced inflation (each fuel tanking is more expensive then the previous)
• Passengers are respawning now

After short break due to some health issues, the development is continuing.
Following changes were made:

• Updated the economics model (the game is no longer over when you have no money for fuel or repairs)
• Added small gyroscope to aid in putting the rocket up right after a crash
• Repairing is not instant any more
• Added Android support (click this link to download the package)
• Reworked the touch controls to improve usability on Android devices

New in Version 0.6 (2014.08.22)

First advanced level is created.

• You can do the taxi job now. Delivering passengers became possible.
• Introducing first economy model.

Due to completely new goal of the mission I had to reset the scoreboard.

Some work towards real taxi level was done:

•     Numbered platforms
•     Passengers on platforms who already know where they want to go
  
  It is not yet possible to pick them up, but you can already tease them a bit ;)

• Problem with physics got fixed (rocket was sliding on the platforms, amking it a bit to easy)
• Made the rocket engine power system fps independent

Due to changes in physics, I had to reset the highscore table.
